S-EBT
Who is eligible for S-EBT benefits?
School Year (2023-2024)
Children enrolled in school (Grades K-12)
Students who attend a school that participates in the National School Lunch (NSL) or School Breakfast (SB) program and who are deemed eligible for free or reduced-price meals through the Richard B. Russell National School Lunch Program (NSLP), by a free and reduced meal application, direct certification (children who are receiving Nevada Supplemental Nutrition Program (SNAP), Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF) Medicaid and are at or below 185% of the Federal Poverty Limit, Food Distribution Program on Indian Reservations (FDPIR)), or designated homeless, migrant, or foster by the child's school during the school year.
Students enrolled in schools that participate in the NSLP or SBP that were not identified as eligible through automatic enrollment but would qualify because their household’s income is at or below 185% of the FPL and were determined to be eligible for S-EBT through a S-EBT application.
Children Ages 6-18 as of July 1, 2024
Children who are not enrolled in an NSLP/SBP participating school are eligible for Summer EBT if they participate in SNAP, TANF, Medicaid, or FDPIR as long as the household was confirmed at or under 185% of the Federal Poverty Level (FPL) and they participated in those programs during the 2023-2024 SY through the end of the S-EBT summer operation period (August 7, 2023-August 12, 2024).
Families must use the Child S-EBT Search Tool before applying. If the results come back and the child cannot be found, then you will be prompted to apply.
